The report will highlight both areas that are satisfactory and also areas of concern. It will give you guidance and recommendations and also an action summary.
You can expect your report to…
Highlight any areas of concern which have been noted by the assessor. Alongside photos for illustration and recommendations for action required.These areas will be given a risk rating and a timescale for action.
Allow the responsible person to work through the guidance and sign off once completed. This helps to ensure the premises is safe and compliant. A revisit is not required.
Give an action summary. This enables the responsible person, to clearly see and prioritise the requirements, set out in the report.
Show when the Fire risk assessment requires it’s annual review. This needs to be carried out by a competent person. We will send out an annual reminder to you. You can re book with ourselves, or depending on the risk rating of the premises and the competency of persons on site, you can have us carry out a Bi annual or 3 yearly reassessment.
Clearly show the authorities, that the premises has been competently assessed. Also shows that the Responsible person, has taken/or is taking the right steps, to ensure their premises is compliant. Alongside all maintenance records and log books.
Satisfy your insurance companies requirements that you have a Fire risk assessment. It is always advisable that you check with your insurance company how often and by whom, they would expect the assessment to be carried out.
